What is a ROM album?
A retro digital photo album saved as a .gb or .gbc file. Open it in an emulator or on a compatible cartridge to browse your photos on retro hardware.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Upload, edit, and preview your own photos without an account. Sign in when you are ready to generate; the review screen shows the credit cost before generation. The Olympic N Park demo is a free download with no account or credits required.
How many photos can I include?
Albums can contain up to 100 photos. Mini albums use 1 credit for up to 25 photos, Standard uses 2 for up to 50, and Max uses 3 for up to 100.
Can I change the order of my photos?
Yes. Select a photo in the editor and use Move to position to choose its new place in the album. This works on a phone or computer.
Do I need to buy a physical cartridge?
No. You can download your generated ROM and use your own compatible emulator or cartridge setup. Physical cartridges are an optional, separate purchase.
Which format should I choose: .gb or .gbc?
Choose .gb for classic compatible handhelds and .gbc for color-capable hardware or emulators. Both formats use the same retro green palette; .gbc does not preserve your photos’ original colors. Your setup must support the format you choose. Renaming the file does not change its compatibility.
Can I order a cartridge for an older album?
Yes. Sign in and find Put an older ROM album on a cartridge at the bottom of your Account page. Upload your previously downloaded GBGallery album, then choose your shell and label.
Can I put different albums or labels on copies in one order?
Copies in one order share the same album and label. You can choose the available shell colors for your copies in the cartridge designer.
Should I keep my downloaded ROM?
Yes. Save your downloaded album somewhere you can find again. It lets you browse the album and upload it later to order a cartridge.
